Did you ever wonder why there are so many different Christian churches if we all believe in the salvation of Jesus?
Today, there are just under 7 BILLION people on the earth, which means there are 7 billion different personalities and 7 billion different hearts and 7 billion different minds each with an innate sense of God. Although not everyone has accepted Jesus as his or her savior and everyone doesn't believe in God, we were each built with something inside us which needs God. But, how we reach out to Him, how we worship Him can vary in 7 billion different ways.
People will tell you that worshiping God a particular way is the only way to worship God - and if you don't worship Him the way they say is correct you are not in a relationship with God. This is FALSE!
Logic would tell us that God created 7 billion different, unique people because He is a very Big God whole loves diversity. If God only had one way for us to worship Him, I imagine we would only have one church denomination with a bunch of different buildings. But what we do have is a bunch of different church denominations - but only one God and only one way to salvation: accepting Jesus as your Savior.
We may disagree about what time worship should be or when we should have communion. We may disagree about how and when baptism should be. We may disagree about what version of the scripture to read or what day or days of the week we should have corporate worship. And all of those disagreements are okay - - the most important thing is that we love each other the way Jesus has called us to love.
In all of our 7 billion different views on how worship should be conducted, we must first remember to put Christ first so that we do not put an "obstacle in another Christian's path" towards a deeper relationship with Jesus.
We may have 7 billion different churches - but we only have 1 Savior.

Fun Fact...
With 10 Days until GUMY I thought it would be fun to countdown my Top 10 favorite GUMY memories of all time (some are super old and from my time as a GUMY)....
#10: Taking the GUMY JR's to their first concert last year. When we arrived at Grove City Church of the Nazarene, Luke asked me if we were, "at a church or a hotel?" It's a pretty big church, but we had a great time at the concert and even had all of the GUMY's jumping around!
Question of the Day:
What is your greatest memory?
